Who am I?

I am Isaac Kobby Anni, a determined and results-driven individual. I possess a steadfast commitment to achieving goals. With a profound understanding of the significance of both life and economics, I consider learning to be an ongoing and progressive way of life. My unwavering fascination with machine learning and its diverse array of industrial applications has been the impetus behind my continuous research and scholarly pursuits. I embody humility, dedication, adaptability, discipline, diligence, self-assuredness, and above all, a deep sense of respect. I have a profound passion for table tennis

I hold two Master’s degrees. I recently completed my Master of Science in Data Science at Bowling Green State University, where I worked on the project “Using Word Embedding Based Document Representation for Text Classification on the Reuters Data.” Prior to this, I earned a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Senegal.

Furthermore, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (formerly University for Development Studies, UDS-Navrongo Campus-Ghana), where I conducted extensive research on capital structure as part of my academic journey.

My proficiency extends to diverse domains, including data mining, natural language processing, and computer vision applications. Over the course of my academic and professional journey, I have adeptly handled a wide spectrum of data types, including textual data, images, traditional tabular datasets, and relational databases. Leveraging PowerBI, I excel in data modeling and manipulation, facilitating robust analytics and technological solutions.

I am resolutely committed to ongoing research, continuous learning, and the creation of innovative resources to bolster my skill set and academic pursuits. My GitHub repositories offer a glimpse into my day-to-day activities, with updates reflecting my evolving expertise and exploration of novel concepts.

My professional trajectory aligns seamlessly with my pronounced areas of interest, which encompass machine learning and deep learning. I possess a keen eagerness to contribute my talents to projects that intersect with these domains. Whether the context is within my areas of specialization or extends to other industries, I am adept at deploying machine learning and deep learning techniques to unravel intricate challenges and drive meaningful outcomes.

In addition to my academic and research endeavors, I am currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Student Success Analytics and Technologies Office at Bowling Green State University under the supervision of Kim Brooks. This role involves active participation in projects that harness data-driven insights to optimize operational processes and enhance decision-making protocols within the University.

Starting in August, I will be continuing my academic journey as a Ph.D. student in Data Science at Bowling Green State University, where I am further honing my proficiencies in machine learning and deep learning techniques. My long-term goal is to contribute as a data scientist in one of the leading R&D firms or departments within companies following my Ph.D. in Data Science. My academic and professional journey underscores my commitment to contributing valuable insights and solutions to complex challenges.

Should you seek an individual who brings a potent blend of academic prowess, technical acumen, and a fervent dedication to leveraging machine learning and deep learning for impactful solutions, I am confident that my profile aligns seamlessly with your expectations. My trajectory exemplifies an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of excellence and the advancement of knowledge-driven outcomes.
